Kokomo Private Island Fiji

This spectacular Fiji private island resort is perfect for large groups. It sleeps up to 130 people, and groups can rent individual villas or buy out the entire island. Each villa comes with a BBQ area, full air conditioning, an infinity edge pool, two services per day by housekeeping and round the clock concierge service by their attentive staff. Exquisite dining is included, as is a private spa treatment and watersports. The island accommodates families as well, with complimentary childcare so parents can get some adult time to enjoy their time in paradise.

Groups travel from the mainland of Fiji to Kokomo in comfort and style on their private Twin Otter seaplane. There’s so much to do at Kokomo Island Resort. The island has four pristine white sand beaches and a natural rainforest. It’s surrounded by the Great Astrolabe Reef, the fourth largest barrier reef in the world, which is known for its magnificent scuba diving. Additional activities like a helicopter charter tour of the island, water skiing, and fishing excursions are also available.

Per bedroom rates range from $3k-$4k per night, all-inclusive. The helicopter charter is an additional $1400 per person.

Laucala
Our stay at Laucala Island was truly unbelievable. We were ensconced in a luxurious one bedroom beachfront villa, a traditional island bure made of stone and hardwood, thatched in sago palm leaves. Two bungalows make up the one bedroom villa: a living room with a small kitchen and the other a bedroom and bathroom. Outside each villa are a private lagoon style pool and an outdoor bath complete with a sink, two outdoor showers, and a giant stone tub. I loved the authentic Fijian décor of this villa, especially the jellyfish chandelier hanging in the bedroom.
Each villa comes with a golf buggy for exploring the island’s beaches, restaurants, spa, and dive centers. There is also a gorgeous golf course and two tennis courts with a great hang out pavilion. But the piece de resistance is the stunning glass-sided swimming pool. Built by Nevada Pools, it has to be seen to be believed.

The staff at Laucala are SO lovely, they bent over backwards to make sure we had the best time. And the food is out of this world AMAZING! They grow much of it at their 97-hectare farm, which, combined with locally caught fish makes the island over 80 percent self-sufficient in food production. If you’re looking for complete privacy, Laucala Island can accommodate, since it has its own air and maritime exclusion zones, making it truly off limits to prying paparazzi. To get to Laucala, it’s an 11-hour direct flight from LA by Fiji Airways into Nadi, followed by a short 45-minute private flight to Laucala.

The rate per bedroom is $6k-$7k per night, all inclusive. Laucala Island can sleep a total of 75 people, so it’s perfect for corporate retreats or family reunions.

Tokoriki Island Resort

If you’re looking for an adults-only escape in Fiji, whether for a group of couples, a Fiji incentive trip, or a corporate meeting, the entire Tokoriki resort is available for group buyouts. Tokoriki is comprised of 36 freestanding beachfront bungalows, so groups of up to 72 people can experience the island in a buyout. Voted the #1 Top Hotel for Service in Fiji by TripAdvisor, Tokoriki offers a boutique luxury experience in a lushly landscaped, private environment.

The island is easy to get to, with fast catamarans from the mainland and private transfer options including helicopters, seaplanes or speedboats. The villa rates include snorkeling, paddleboarding, kayaking, and sailing. For an additional charge, guests can experience the spa, fishing, diving, and parasailing. Our group booked a private jet ski tour around the Fiji islands, with a wonderful guide who took us over glass-like oceans all around the archipelago.

Rates range $1395 to $1995 per night, with all-inclusive options available for an additional charge.

The beauty of Fiji is like nothing we’ve ever seen, and we’re so grateful to be adding these incredible islands to Blue Sky Luxury Travels. Please contact us at info@blueskyluxuryconcierge.com for more information on Fiji island buyouts, weddings, and corporate retreats, or even a private couples’ getaway. We’ll be glad to share our experiences and advice to help you plan the ultimate Fiji getaway.
