Turks & Caicos

Turks and Caicos are a British Overseas Territory located 550 miles southeast of Miami, Florida, just below the Bahamas chain. They are made up of 40 low-lying coral islands in the Atlantic Ocean, 8 of which are inhabited. Providenciales, also called Provo, is known for its stunningly beautiful beach called Grace Bay Beach as well many luxury resorts and villas, restaurants and shops. The islands are home to about 30,000 residents and welcome more than 200,000 tourists annually. This territory is known for their incredible diving and snorkeling to include a 14-mile barrier reef on Provo’s north shore and a 2,134 meter underwater wall off Grand Turk island. They are also known as one of the top destinations in the world for kiteboarding. There is a lot to do on T&C, so here are the highlights:
